After living abroad for most of my teenage years and early adulthood, I returned to the city of my birth and was curious to “discover” it through the lens with my vision of photography at the time. These photographs are a testimony to the passage of time: the city has lost that quiet Andean aspect of those years, modernity has changed its external appearance. Those cobbled streets, wooden balconies, quiet patios, large patios almost like a village squares where families share communal spaces… they all have gone and are a distant memory.
